First Two Days

Well starting from where I left off.....We went to tapas the first night we were here.  The photo below is us on our way to tapear (the verb meaning: to get tapas)!!! The one below that is at the Tapas Bar.  It was very good and I tried eel!! But I was so tired from the day that I didn't talk much.  Just wanted to sleep!

After tapas I came back and went to bed!  On Sunday morning I woke up around 10 and was still exhausted.  Jet lag clearly is a stubborn thing.  After breakfast, the homestay hosts came to pick people up.  Margot (my roommate) and my lady showed up second with a little 4 year old in tow.  Her name is Exuperancia Bleda and the little one was Diego, her grandson.  She is just lovely.  She speaks slowly and clearly so we understand, and has no problem repeating things in simpler ways if we don't get it.  Diego was adorable too!  He was showing Margot and I just how much English he knew by pointing at various clothes we'd unpacked and saying the name of the color in Spanish and then English.  It was very cute!  I'll have to get a picture with Diego the next time I see him to post.

Here is Margot and my room!

More later!  I've got another class to get to now :-)
